Is it really end of October?

Motivational quote

At the end of October let’s have this quote to be just set in great mood to plan quickly what we will do today and then follow it. So, my choice of the quote of today is:

“I don’t believe in failure. It’s not failure if you enjoyed the process.”

– Oprah Winfrey

I kind of like this one because it is so true in my case. I enjoy the process, the journey. Am I perfect? Hell NO. Am I doing everything right? Again: Hell NO! But I am on the journey. With every step I get more and more knowledge. It may take years to learn enough to be happy where I am with my piano skills, but more important is that journey. It gives a lot of joy, happiness. Mostly 🙂 So, without further ado, here is my quick plan for today. Do yours and follow later by finding time to simply complete it 🙂

All right my plan is:

  • warm up as usually with scales, chords and arpeggios: C, F, G minor and major. As usually starting with exercises from my app Piano Marvel , quite handy all waiting for me there :),
  • further warm up by playing and partly practising my: Boom Chuck Accompaniment and Rolled Chords Accompaniment and Alberti Bass Accompaniment
  • practice time by playing this Canon in C – I am struggling a bit here. You’ll see soon, I think on Saturday I will record my monthly progress and I think it will be Canon in C.
  • second part of practice I will do later in the evening, and it will be practising for a bit “Falling Slowly” in my  playgroundsessions app.

I guess that is all for today. With time I have that should be more then enough. If there is some time left I will just enjoy playing few pieces I know how to play and in this way maybe improve them a bit.

All right, last thing is to put here some piece for tomorrow’s morning. I enjoy a lot that part of my morning routine. I truly recommend. Nothing better so far to wake up with nice piece of music to listen to. My choice for tomorrow is:

All right, that is all for today. Loads of stuff to do yet for me, but for sure piano practice is on top of the list.

Enjoy your time with yours, or any other instrument you play and you are here.

Have fun.

Take care till tomorrow.
