Sunday full of fun…

You must enjoy the journey because whether or not you get there, you must have fun on the way.

– Kalpana Chawla

All right so, today is day of fun. Not that all other days don’t bring fun and enjoyment of being of piano learning journey. But today is special. I have my day of fun only on Sundays and I truly recommend you should have one too. Just to enjoy your progress, play what you can play now, build up enthusiasm for week of practice to come, charge your batteries and follow plan that will be made during incoming days. So, today is quite simple, below my plan for today:

  • warm up with F major and F minor scales (two octaves with both hands, chords, and arpeggios with my Piano Marvel app),
  • further warm up with Canon in C piece of music I work on right now,
  • even further warm up with quick repeat of my last two exercises from Technique section of Piano Marvel: Boom Chuck Accompaniment and Rolled Chords Accompaniment,
  • now I am ready to play what I can so far, not all of them but just few several times in the raw each of them, and later one after another,
  • I will finish my Sunday fun session with practising a bit this new song I am learning from another app I find good to practice with (playgroundsessions.com): “Falling Slowly” – this is my song I am learning now 🙂

That is it for me this week. Good end. Better again then last week. Looking forward for what is about to come next week. I hope you are doing as well good and it is very possible that even better than I do. Unchain your talent with everyday practice. Build that habit of playing every single day. You will be amazed how enjoyable is after some time to play every day and how visible for you will be the progress you make. So, stick to your plan, stick to your dreams and practice, play, have fun.

Last thing here is to prepare piece of piano music for tomorrow morning. This routine to get up with piano piece of music is so great that it is worth it to do it. Get ready your piece to listen in the morning or simply use this one I will be listening tomorrow, Ludovico Einaudi “Una Mattina”:

All right all is done. Now it is time to finish few bits and pieces and start that fun part of Sunday, for me. I hope you will have as much fun with your piano as me 🙂

Good day to all of you who read this.

Take care.
